Due to our independent nature, alongside many well known brands, we can also fit and supply more specialist contact lenses where needed, such as RGPs or cosmetic contact lenses. Other popular contact lenses we fit include:
Multifocal lenses- These allow both distance and near vision to be corrected for in each eye. Allowing excellent depth perception at all distances. These are most commonly worn by presbyopic patients (generally over 40 years old) who often require correction at near as well as distance.
‘Myopia Management’ contact lenses- these are for children and teenagers who may already be short sighted (struggle to see at distance). These contact lenses are designed to reduce the risk of progression of their short sightedness as they grow up. In recent years, there has been large amounts of clinical research around the technologies used in these type of lenses, showing strong evidence of successful results.
